Turkey's Hunting

Thank you Deacon for the camo :)

All the boys have begged and begged for me to go turkey hunting. I have forever refused based on the following facts:
1. I have to wake up early
2. It is cold
3. I have to be quiet and can't talk
Dwain finally said I HAD to go since his parents were in town to watch the kids. We did have a good time, saw lots of birds and even a coyote! We were NOT successful but the next day Dwain took a more experienced hunter (Deacon) and finally got his Tom. :)

God's Not Dead, He's Surely Alive!

This is our family's favorite song right now! We were all singing along with the Newsboys all Easter long. Hope your family had a blessed Easter Sunday.

Romans 6:8-11
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Watoto Children's Choir

We had the privilege of housing several boys and a sponsor from the Watoto Children's Choir.
The boys loved them and everyone got along great!
They loved our American breakfast of bacon, eggs, sausage and biscuits.
We had to send them with a sack lunch and the Banner boys put this spread out for them to chose from. Their favorite was the popcorn!
What a great experience for our kids to be exposed to children that have so little. Perspective is a hard thing to keep living in the blessed USA!
