Fun! Smith's Express & a Movie

To celebrate the start of Christmas break we decided to have a family night out. We started our evening by going to eat at Smith's Express. The boys wanted to sit at the bar :)
Have you been there lately??? Wow! It's so so good and so so cheap. The boys all got pancakes, and Dwain and I split a brown bag special which includes 2 burgers, fries and 2 drinks. Smith's offers buy one get one half off from 4-8pm. so our total bill came to $16.16. Can you believe that!??!! As you can see the pancakes were huge!
They couldn't eat even half of the pancake, Seriously, if you haven't been to Smith's Express lately... go! Bo stuffed himself...
We then went and saw the new Chipmunk movie, Chipwrecked, and, well... the boys liked it!
Dwain hates movies but he loves buttered popcorn and soda. Funny thing, since we ordered Dr. Pepper they gave us a free Dr. Pepper T-SHIRT, just what we needed! HA! Everyone had fun and they were all pooped, especially Chapel.
He fell asleep while I was doing laundry. Sweet baby! We are excited and ready for Christmas break.

Hat Day

Today was hat day at BIS and Bo wanted to wear two hats. As Dwain said, this totally reminds us of my Grandpa and my dad. Both like to do silly things like this and both are proud of their name. Oh, and thank you Uncle Kenny for the cool, message-board hat that scrolls "Bo Banner".

Make Grapes?

I always wash my grapes then leave them on the table in a strainer. Chapel brought me this and said, "will you make grapes?"

Like Mother like... Son-in-Law??

Funny story, Dwain bought me this outfit for a big event we had. My mom showed up with the same skirt :) Don't worry, she changed! I like to tease Dwain that he has the same taste as a 60 year old woman... but no surprise here... my mom is a classy dresser!

Halloween

Well since we live out of town we don't get many visitors but the ones we do get sure are cute!!! Check them out...
 Millie, our sweet baby girl!
The Bayless kids, Granton & Kaylynn. Granton won the Bolivar costume contest!
Deacon & cutie McKinley
Maisie, who I want to kidnap!!
Cael & Owen, they always have the best costumes!
Precious Baby Finn

OKC Lego Cityscape

We visited Lego Cityscape in OKC. The boys loved it and came up with great ideas to build their own creations.

Jake wants to be a Lego artist, that would be awesome! These buildings were so neat!
Dwain and the red dress. :)

 Papa Rex enjoyed the... coffee!

Chapel kept touching everything and I told him "wait and play with lego's when we get home." He looked at me like I was crazy and said "WE DON'T HAVE THESE AT HOME!"

Bo's Sky Scraper!
Fun times!!!

Lot of Catching Up to Do!

As you know I've gotten a little behind on my blogging. No, our lives haven't stopped, just my blogging. This is my attempt to play catch-up. I've adding some random pics but I have several big events to blog about. Here we go...

Deacon ran for Student Council, having a dad in the t-shirt biz really helps! Deacon printed "Vote for Deacon" shirts for all his friends... and didn't want anyone to wonder who Deacon was. BTW, he won!
Chapel and Colton (good family friend) playing video games. Do these kids really learn so early??

Daddy, Mom and Jake!
Chapel still loves his baby bed for nap time only. Bo decided to sleep with him. As you can imagine, after 4 boys this bed is READY to retire!!!

The Camdenton Laker soccer team came and stayed the night at our house (via the Ingolds). All these shoes cracked me up and I could only think someday my entryway will look like this all time!

Picking Walnuts

Fall brings one of our favorite family projects, picking walnuts! We had fun and everyone helped. The boys spend all their time talking about what they'll buy with their money :). Chapel enjoyed playing in the truck until we realized he was throwing walnuts out as quick as we were picking them up!

Baby Burrito

Every night after the boys shower Deacon wraps Chapel up in a towel and brings me my "baby burrito". Tonight my sweet burrito fell asleep before we could get his pj's on.

Weekend with the Johnsons

This is one of my favorite friends, Brittany. We got close when she lived in Bolivar, since then she has lived in California, Utah and now Iowa (her husband Stan is a coach.) If you wonder why I don't post a picture of us from the weekend they were here it's because we never took a good one and since I'm in charge of this blog... there shall be no horrible pictures of me posted! In honor of Brittany visiting, I made a list of 10 Things I Love About Brittany

1. Shopping with her, she has AMAZING taste in clothing!
2. How we can go months and not talk but pick-up where we left off anytime.
3. Her faithfulness and good attitude as a coach's wife.
4. Her mom & dad!!!! (they are soooo fun!)
5. She is transparent, always honest and never fake.
6. Make-up advice, she introduces me to new products all the time.
7. She's a great mom!!!
8. Adaptability, wherever she goes, she fits in and people love her!
9. Shopping with her, wait, I already said that... well it's worth 2 things just because!
10. As you can see, she is beautiful, but that is just a small glimpse of the true beauty of Brittany!

Ok, now for kids pictures of the weekend... we had a great time.
